About

Scottish vanners is Scotland`s only non make specific van/commercial vehicle web site and club.
We are here to help and to bring van owners and enthusiasts throughout Scotland aswell as other countries together, and to give them a place to discuss aswell as get needed technical help and support for all the vehicle needs.
We have a strong family based community where members can pop in and read up aswell as join in with active discussions with like minded individuals.
We also have regular meets where you can come along with the family, relax, have a chat, and check out the other members vans.
We have a large member base with all different makes, types and conditions of vans.
We welcome classic, rusty, modern, European, U.S spec vans and you will never be made to feel your van is inferior or that your van isn't good enough due to it being a working van, we still want you to join in.
Our forum offers sales sections for van and non van parts, general van talk areas, live chat box, forum radio, wanted sections, and members services, so if you have a trade or business then advertise free.

History

The Scottish Vanners forum was established on the 15th May 2009, by Jim "bigmastif" McConnell, after realising there was a large amount of Scottish van owners on manufacturer specific van websites who would never normaly be in contact with each other.
Scottish vanners gave and still gives van owners a place to meet and help each other no matter what the make of van they drive or own. Even if you're only in the market for a van, pop in with any questions you may have.

The club has gone from stength to strength and this website was launched to complement the message board.

The club is founded on the principles that we are here to help van owners, drivers and enthusiasts in Scotland.
We will be community based, family friendly and have regular meets and get togethers, no money or charges to be a member and above all else keep the vanning spirit alive.

We are always welcome to any new ideas about the website, forum, club, or meets/events!
